Learn what’s fresh in King County and join us for a full-day of family-friendly fun with free activities and live music, food vendors, hands-on activities, and more at King County’s CHOMP! Aug. 15, at Marymoor Park in Redmond.
This year’s music lineup at the free event includes:
- Cat Power
- Whitney
- Lady A
- Marshall Law Band
- Warren Dunes
- Mikey the Rad Scientist
- Daniel Tiger
Activities include a kids carpentry workshop, petting zoo, farmer’s market, kids cooking competition, Henry Art scavenger hunt, free mending station, tree climbing, food vendors, photos with Daniel Tiger, and sustainable living booths.
Since 2015, CHOMP! has supported King County’s Local Food Initiative by celebrating local farmers, chefs and restaurants using locally-sourced food and local organizations specializing in healthy food, sustainability, and social justice.
“Access to healthy, fresh food is essential for building thriving communities, especially as rising food costs are making it harder for many families to afford nutritious meals,” said King County Executive Girmay Zahilay. “Investing in our local food economy, sustainable agriculture, and equitable access to fresh produce strengthens the health and resilience of our entire region. CHOMP! is a celebration of King County’s continued commitment to support local farmers, chefs, restaurants, food access nonprofits, and community partners like Sustainable Renton in our shared mission of healthy eating and sustainable living.”
This year CHOMP! is proud to announce Sustainable Renton as its 2026 beneficiary. Sustainable Renton is a volunteer-driven non-profit with a mission to foster a healthier, more sustainable and equitable community by promoting environmental stewardship, food justice, and education. Sustainable Renton works to ensure that all community members have access to nutritious food, sustainable resources, and opportunities to engage in meaningful environmental action.
CHOMP! is hosted by King County Parks and is produced by Artist Home, which produces such events as the successful Timber! Outdoor Music Festival at King County’s Tolt-MacDonald Park and Campground, Derby Days, and R-Day. Artist Home is known for integrating unique natural settings into the event experience, and uniting music, community, and nature.
